Apps I’d Like to See
I’m just posting ideas and things I’d like to see. I’m learning so who knows maybe I’ll write something here. Anyhow if you spot something comment about it!
Content:
- GasBuddy – Prices by GPS
- WordPress – Quick Posts and Comment viewer
Social Media:
- bbPress(well all forums) – Browser and subscription
- Facebook — I wanna see this updated for the new cloud2mobile api.
Games:
- A good old fashioned RPG
- Emulators with network support
- Something a bit more multiplayer-oriented then poker
- On that note, an odds analyzer for card games with ingame variables. This should be easy, thinking being able to enter in number of decks, game rules(well choose from a list), suit order, my held cards, cards I’ve seen(I’m almost always playing with my phone at the same time), etc
- Desktop Defender, y’know the facebook one, with all the same in-game features(coins, ranking, etc) synced with the facebook stats
Server Administration:
- FREE Heartbeat monitor/service using the cloud2mobile api to wake a system management app on the phone. I’m using Rackspace Cloud and would love to see an app that basically hooks into that whole system
- Exchange Hub – I have a gmail account, a google apps account, and would also like to get my facebook events in my calendar too. Wishful thoughts, I think it may resort to me designing some sort of Microsoft Exchange server that pulls from other exchange servers and merges them. Sounds messy
